This is my favorite time of year in Massachusetts agriculture! Harvest is actively underway, and the air is crisp and cooling. The foliage is beautiful, and consumers are eager to get out to our farms to pick apples, and buy pumpkins or meat for their freezer.
It is also a great time of the year at Farm Bureau. Last month, Massachusetts achieved membership quota goals with the American Farm Bureau Federation, as our membership continues to grow. Such growth is essential for the strength of the organization, and for financial stability as well.
